Part of the California Inland Empire, Eastvale currently has a population of about 55,000 people. Eastvale is a relatively new urban-suburban community. Indeed, prior to the late 1990s, the Eastvale area was agricultural, chiefly dairy farms. Residential development occurred apace in Eastvale beginning in the late 1990s as a result of people, including families, that wanted to escape higher housing prices in Los Angeles and Orange counties. Eastvale officially incorporated as a city in the latter part of 2010.

The community is home to a growing number of recreational, cultural, and entertainment options. In addition, Eastvale has solid schools serving the educational needs of the community.

One of the positive elements of Eastvale that continues to attract people to the community is its low crime rate. The crime rate in Eastvale is significantly lower than both the Riverside county and national averages.

Standoff With Gunman Stuns Eastvale

Despite its low crime rate, there have been occasional situations in which an incident shocks the residents of this normally quiet community. One such event that rocked Eastvale was an officer-involved shooting in a residence in an otherwise quiet neighborhood in the community.

The Eastvale Station of the Riverside Sheriff’s initially received a call of a drug overdose at a residence in the city. Officers dispatched to the scene. When they arrived, the officers were advised by people outside the residence that a gunshot was heard and that a person in the house had been hit.

Officers entered the residence and did find a person who had been shot. The individual had sustained injuries that proved to not be life-threatening.

In addition, the officers located the man who was suspected of shooting the victim in the residence. He was inside another room in the residence and refused to come out.

Eventually, the 40-year old man fired multiple rounds through the closed door, in the general direction of the sheriff’s deputies. No one was hit by the gunfire. Two officers evidently did fire back, although they missed the shooter.

Ultimately, the suspect was apprehended. No additional gunfire occurred after the initial rounds fired through the door. The shooter was booked into the Riverside County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder.

Biohazard Cleanup in Eastvale

In a situation, like the officer-involved shooting in Eastvale, a residence (or business) can end up contaminated with blood and other bodily fluids after the incident. This occurs in situations in which a person is killed or injured (as happened in the Eastvale standoff). In either scenario, the need exists for biohazard cleanup in Eastvale.

The burden for cleaning up after an assault, homicide, suicide, or some other type of traumatic incident rests in the hands of surviving family members or the owner of the property where the event occurred, depending on the circumstances. The reality is that this type of cleanup potentially can expose those involved to exposure to dangerous pathogens. For example, blood and other bodily fluids that can be found at the scene of a traumatic or violent incident can include viruses or bacteria like:

  • Hepatitis B
  • Hepatitis C
  • HIV
  • MRSA

Because of the potential risk of exposure to these dangerous pathogens, a person who faces the prospect of cleaning up after a traumatic or violent incident should consider seriously retaining the services of a professional, experienced, compassionate biohazard cleanup specialist. A professional has the experience, tenacity, materials, and equipment necessary to thoroughly and safely remediate the aftermath of a violent incident.

Another important reason exists for hiring a biohazard cleanup specialist. Family members who have a loved one who was assaulted or even killed, as well as family members of suicide victims, already face potentially overwhelming emotions. If a family member has died, the bereavement process is profound.

A family member only magnifies these challenging emotions by taking on the cleanup process on his or her own. Thus, protecting a surviving family member’s emotional and psychological state is another important reason why obtaining a professional biohazard cleanup in Eastvale specialist is the recommend course of action.
