Wildomar Pizza Parlor Shooting Stuns Community

Perhaps because violent crimes are not particularly commonplace in Wildomar, when a homicide occurs in the city, residents are truly stunned. During the summer of 2018, a shooting occurred at the popular Stadium Pizza parlor in Wildomar.

About mid-afternoon, a group of people were gathering for a meal inside the pizzeria. They were waiting on two other men to join them. The two men did arrive at the pizza parlor shortly after 3:00 in the afternoon.

One of the men got out of his car and walked over to the vehicle in which the other man was still sitting. The men appeared to exchange some words, of some type. After that occurred, the man standing outside the car fired four rounds at the man seated in the vehicle. The shooter then started to walk away but stopped and turned around. He shot the man in the car two more times. The victim seated in the car managed to scream “No!” one time.

Law enforcement officials arrived at the scene shortly after the shooting. The determined that the victim was deceased. They were also able to take the shooter into custody at that time. The suspect had remained in the general location of the shooting.

The Riverside County Coroner was also dispatched to the scene. The coroner’s team assisted with the investigation at the scene and then removed the body for an autopsy.

Biohazard Cleanup in Wildomar

In the case of the infamous Wildomar pizza parlor shooting, the incident occurred in the parking lot in front of the establishment, rather than in the business itself. When a shooting or other type of violent homicide occurs within a business or residence, crime scene cleanup can be a complicated and challenging task. In this case, the vehicle in which the shooting occurred would need to be cleaned.

The same holds true for other types of traumatic incidents, including certain types of suicides and certain types of accidents. In addition, the aftermath of an unattended death can also result in a complicated cleanup process. (An unattended death is one in which a person not only dies alone but whose remains are not immediately discovered. In the case of an unattended death, days, weeks, or even months can pass before a body is discovered.)

Following a violent episode that results in the “spilling” of blood and other bodily fluids, the scene of the incident can contain what are known as dangerous pathogens. Dangerous pathogens are viruses, bacteria, microorganisms, and biological toxins that can harm human beings. Pathogens can result in disease, including fatal disease. Examples of pathogens that potentially can be found in the blood include:

  • HIV
  • MRSA
  • Hepatitis B
  • Hepatitis C

Because of the potential dangers that can be associated with blood and other bodily fluids, in the aftermath of a homicide, suicide, accident, or unattended death, a person charged with the cleanup process will want to give serious consideration to retaining the services of a professional biohazard cleanup in Wildomar specialist.

In addition to protecting against the risk pathogen contamination, hiring a professional is also recommended to protect against undue emotional strain or harm. Following the traumatic death of a loved one, a person is likely to face a tremendously challenging, perhaps even overwhelming, bereavement process. Adding personally taking on the cleanup of the death scene into the mix will only work to further enflame the emotional state of a person.
