Wildomar is one of the most rapidly growing communities in Southern California. Between the 2000 and 2010 census, the population of Wildomar almost doubled. The population of Wildomar is now approaching 40,000.

Wildomar Pizza Parlor Shooting Stuns Community
Perhaps because violent crimes are not particularly commonplace in Wildomar, when a homicide occurs in the city, residents are truly stunned. During the summer of 2018, a shooting occurred at the popular Stadium Pizza parlor in Wildomar.
About mid-afternoon, a group of people were gathering for a meal inside the pizzeria. They were waiting on two other men to join them. The two men did arrive at the pizza parlor shortly after 3:00 in the afternoon.
One of the men got out of his car and walked over to the vehicle in which the other man was still sitting. The men appeared to exchange some words, of some type. After that occurred, the man standing outside the car fired four rounds at the man seated in the vehicle. The shooter then started to walk away but stopped and turned around. He shot the man in the car two more times. The victim seated in the car managed to scream “No!” one time.
Law enforcement officials arrived at the scene shortly after the shooting. The determined that the victim was deceased. They were also able to take the shooter into custody at that time. The suspect had remained in the general location of the shooting.
The Riverside County Coroner was also dispatched to the scene. The coroner’s team assisted with the investigation at the scene and then removed the body for an autopsy.

In the case of the infamous Wildomar pizza parlor shooting, the incident occurred in the parking lot in front of the establishment, rather than in the business itself.
